Landscape Design
Project 1
An attractive, newly remodeled, clapboard house is set in a private New England woodland, which mandated plantings loving partial sun and shade. All sides of this lovely home were landscaped with the following features:
- Simple, inviting entrance using deer proof material
- enclosed back area with a vegetable garden
- Patio and stepping stones set in grave
- Borders using native tress, shrubs and long-blooming perennials.

Project 2

This home is set well back from a busy two-way highway. The front exposure has evergreen plantings of boxwood, azalea, Japanese pine plus clump birches which look well with the pale yellow siding and green trim. When the owner bought the house, there was a jumble of big boulders in the front area. In one day with a large backhoe, this was transformed into a hillside garden with steps. Then it was planted with a mix of evergreen and deciduous shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grasses.
